Description

Add sculptural seating to your space with this Freestanding Hanging Egg Chair with Stand.

The chair features a tall, curved support post rising from a circular floor base, allowing the basket-style seat to hang freely without requiring a ceiling-mounted suspension point. The result is a dramatic floating appearance that immediately draws attention.

The suspended seat has an elongated egg-inspired silhouette with a high back and open woven lattice construction. Its curved shape wraps around the seating area while maintaining an airy, lightweight visual appearance.

A chain and upper suspension connection attach the chair to the stand, allowing the seat to hang beneath the curved support arm. The combination of the sweeping stand, circular base and sculptural basket creates a distinctive contemporary look.

The dark woven seat contrasts with the warmer dark-toned stand, giving the piece visual depth while remaining easy to coordinate with a variety of surrounding furniture and décor.

Whether used as a relaxation chair, reading seat or decorative accent, this hanging chair brings movement, texture and a playful architectural element into the room.

Why You Should Buy

This hanging chair offers a more distinctive seating experience than a conventional accent chair.

The suspended basket creates a floating appearance, while the tall curved stand allows the chair to function as a complete freestanding unit. Its circular base provides a visually balanced foundation beneath the sweeping upright support.

The open woven construction prevents the chair from appearing visually heavy, even though its tall profile gives it significant presence within a room.

Its egg-shaped seat also creates an enclosed, cocoon-like silhouette that naturally defines a personal seating area.

For anyone looking to introduce a statement seating piece with movement and sculptural character, this hanging chair offers an appealing combination of function and decorative impact.

Lifestyle Appeal

Create Your Own Relaxation Corner

Position this hanging chair in a quiet corner with a small side table and floor lamp to create a dedicated reading or relaxation area.

Its dramatic vertical profile also makes it well suited to spaces where you want furniture to contribute visually to the room rather than simply provide seating.

The dark finish coordinates particularly well with:

• Neutral interiors
• Natural wood furniture
• Black furnishings
• Green plants
• Contemporary décor
• Bohemian-inspired accessories
• Woven decorative elements
• Earth-tone palettes
• Modern lounge spaces

The freestanding design also gives the chair a strong presence when viewed from multiple angles.
